This has an immediate fresh citrusy ginger scent that is wonderful. It is definately a top note as it doesn't last long on a scent strip.
It smells amazing especially with fruity fragrance with it which lighter the Oud sharp note, can be blended perfectly with woody leather notes.
Amazing Oud scent could add depth and oriental odour for woody note perfume to convert it to like luxury breeze
I received my order and was impressed by this absolute and everything else that I purchased from Fraterworks. I cannot wait to experiment with all of these beautiful scents!
This stuff is strong and so realistic you will feel compelled to mix a cocktail or two. I diluted mine further to 1% down from the 10% dilution it is sold in as when making small sample iterations it was too strong to allow fine dosing. Despite being so powerful, when blended with smooth woods and bright top notes it is not overwhelming, providing a nice warmth and depth to the fragrance.
Beautiful recreation. Realistic, complex, with a wonderful scent.
In my research on Galbanum I found that it was used in biblical times. Looking forward to using this oil not only in perfumery but in my healing practice as well
This is one of those materials that brings a lot of dimensions at once, a workhorse for me. Can’t wait to try the dark ginger CO2 next!
hands down my favourite orange blossom material, possibly even over an absolute. Really deep and rich but also bright and diffusive. I've tried a few different orange blossom bases and this one works the best for me. natural and beautiful
Labdanum Light Absolute provides a honey- sweet, balsamic fragrance that gives a top to middle labdanum coverage. I get a slight animalic note as well.
I really like the over all profile of this Tonka Bean Absolute. I especially like the Hay aspect, that really stands out. Due to the high price I bought it diluted to 10%. And in my opinion this absolute is not strong enough to be dulited to 10%.
I know Tonka Beans Absolutes are pricy. So in that sence it's good that you can buy it in a dilution. But it really should be used un-diluted.
