Iraldeine Beta (Methyl Ionone Beta Coeur) opens with a powdery orris-violet character — clean, slightly woody, with a soft leathery and tobacco depth underneath. A faint creamy-tropical sweetness threads through the heart and base.
Use Iraldeine Beta in the heart of orris bouquets, violet-leather accords, classic chypres and modern woody florals. It bridges floral hearts to woody-leather bases without the candy-violet sweetness of other methyl ionones. A small dose deepens iris replicas; larger doses push compositions toward dry tobacco, violet suede and classical leather territory.
As used in both Kadine (1911) and L'Heure Bleue (1912) by Guerlain. In L'Heure Bleue it is masterfully blended with Iriseine (Methyl Ionone Alpha Extra), Iraldeine Delta (Isomethyl Ionone Beta), and a little Iralia for polish. The demo formula below demonstrates how truly considered every ingredient was in a classical perfume.

Iraldeine Beta has been confirmed by GCMS analysis in many landmark fragrances. Quantified examples include Chanel No 5 (1.87%), Replique by Raphael (1.00%), Synarome Cuir HF base (2.09%), Synarome Cuir de Russie base (0.91%), Roja Chypre Extraordinaire (0.43%), Dior Cuir Cannage (0.41%), Detchema by Revillon (0.33%), Histoires de Parfums 1740 Marquis de Sade (0.28%) and Patou 1000 (0.02%). It is also identified in Aromatics Elixir, Twilly d'Hermès, Chanel Le Lion and Comète, Amouage Jubilation XXV and Interlude Black Iris, and several Henry Jacques and Amouage attars.
Caveat: GCMS breaks ionone blends into their component parts, so these may be direct add or parts of a mixed isomer material.

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
