This complex and luxurious lavandin grosso oil is a perfect balance of herbal, camphoraceous and floral notes. Grown in the temperate climate of the lower North island of New Zealand and produced at a family owned lavender farm, this oil won the gold medal prize for the best lavandin Grosso in New Zealand.
Lavandin is a cross between high altitude "true" lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and low altitude spike lavander (Lavandula spica). The resulting oil is a bolder and more complex oil than either of its parents.
An excellent blender for labdanum (essential oil, resinoid and absolute), Oakmoss, Vetiver and its by-products, Patchouli, Douglas fir needle, Coumarin, Clary sage, chypres and fougeres.
Origin: New Zealand
