I love the fragrance and longevity of this product. It is quite strong so, I use it at 10%. On a scent strip, it is good for days! Great product!
A real workhorse for your projects. Gets the job done, and the quality is so good!
Amazing products, I bought Tolú balsam and Benzoin, super easy to use after a gentle warm up, dissolved really easily with my other ingredients. I love the fact that you can buy small quantities to try the ingredients and at a really affordable price. The fact that shipping if free within NZ is the cherry on top.
I've been searching unsuccessfully for a realistic chrysanthemum accord in existing fragrances my whole life, and now with Azarbre I've finally created a mine..
I'm happy.
Remarkably realistic, elegant, and easy to work with. It captures the luminous floral character of orange flower without becoming overly green, sharp, or soapy. Instead, it delivers a refined floral radiance that feels natural and effortless. A testament to just how well Fraterworks designs its bases.
One of the best bergamots I've worked with. It retains the brightness and character of bergamot without the harsh, sharp edges often found in citrus materials. Smooth, elegant, and incredibly easy to blend. It brought exactly the refinement I was looking for in my composition.
Between a juniper and elemi effect. Works well with a citrus or aromatic. can work with frankincense like the description says, also a slight amber/cistus facet.
I first smelled it in the beginning of the 90s, Was one of my favourites. When a few years ago I bought the current formulation I concluded I still like it a lot after all those decades, but feels somehow hollow, and weaker. So noe when I read that this compound goes even back to the original formula I decided to give it a try.
It is even better than I remembered. I do not know if it is the 80s formulation, which I never tried, or some Fraterworks magic, but it is indeed richer, denser, yet somehow feels more rounded; a really ripe super scent. Would be interedted to see the formula, well done!
very nice dark patchouli , just need a bit age to improuve its notes
A cornerstone material for high-end musky, floral, and clean-skin fragrances.
This is the first reconstruction that approximates an old tincture of musk tonkin I have. It has that same diffusive, impregnating, cloud-like character of the real thing. I could smell it through the packaging of my recent fraterworks order. I store it isolated in a sealed package just like I do skatole and cumin seed because it impregnated everything else and only use it in 1% dilution. It is that powerful. Wonderful material!
Pretty much spot on for the original - even mixed at 5% is spot on. All I need now is a compound for both imperial leather soap/ original old spice and I’d be set
