Pink grapefruit opens brighter and sweeter than its white counterpart. The bitter, almost quinine-like edge of white grapefruit is dialled back here, replaced by a rounder, juicier, almost berry-tinged citrus that feels more approachable from the first sniff. The colour difference in the fruit translates directly to the oil.
Where white grapefruit excels in sharp masculine colognes, pink grapefruit moves naturally toward fruity-floral and feminine territory. It bridges citrus and fruit accords in a way that few other naturals can — try it alongside peach, raspberry, or blackcurrant materials and the results feel effortless. The characteristic sulphurous bite underneath the sweetness keeps it honest and unmistakably grapefruit.
Use it generously as a sparkling top note. It pairs beautifully with rose, neroli, and white florals where you want citrus freshness without the austerity of lemon or the heaviness of orange. A natural companion to our Grapefruit Heart for extended citrus impact through the drydown.
Note: This oil is rectified to reduce furocoumarins and fortified with a trace of natural tocopherol to extend its life on the shelf. That gives it an IFRA category 4 usage of a whop[ing 40% rather than the typical 4% for grapefruit oils.

General Information
Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.
All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.
