Rose oil (also known as rose otto) from Bulgaria is the premiere rose product. It is effective in traces but can be overdosed in the most luxurious floral fragrances. Rose otto is the classic pairing with jasmine absolute and blends beautifully with our signature Rose Bulgarian Absolute.

The recent earthquakes in Turkey have led to a diminished stock of Turkish oil putting higher demand on the superior Bulgarian stock causing prices to rocket. Despite that, we have managed to keep our prices as low as possible and will continue to do so despite the market remaining in flux.

We are offering this wonderful oil pure and in a 10% dilution in natural Triethyl Citrate, an odourless isolate from citrus which is a particularly good diluent for rose materials.

Our rose is produced by LMR and is COSMOS certified. LMR produces the highest quality Bulgarian Oil on the market bar none.

Note: Fraterworks is not a registered COSMOS company so while this product is CSM certified when it reaches us, we cannot use that terminology when we resell.

    Origin: Bulgaria
    Part: Flowers only
    Process: Steam distillation

Fraterworks® is strictly a reseller of this product and is neither an agent nor official distributor for LMR.

    General Information

Like most suppliers and makers of quality raw materials for fragrances, we do not filter many of our products. This ensures that no odiferous matter is lost prior to use but can result in the appearance of small particles or slight clouding.

All alcoholic fragrances should be macerated for up to a month and then chilled in a moderate freezer overnight before being filtered fine. This will remove all cloudiness or detritus and is the industry norm.

    IFRA Standards

    Permitted amounts in finished product:

    IFRA 51: 0.6%

These are derived from calculated concentrations which do not replace chromatographic quantification on individual lots. Disclaimer...

    For Trade Use Only

Our products are intended as building blocks in the perfume creation process; they are not to be applied to the skin undiluted.

These raw materials are for use by the perfumery trade only.

    Exquisite

The most beautiful rose oil I've had the pleasure if using to date. Smooth like velvet, prominent in a blend as well as tenacious!

    Smells amazing but…

Didn’t realize it gets so solid. Any recommendations on how to handle? Can you give me the weight of the bottle so I can just add alcohol? Or does it need to be heated? But seriously the smell is out of this world. All the sparkle and lift of a bulgar rose but with much more depth and chiaro Scuro.

Hi Viktor! I'm glad you like the rose otto - I use it a lot and love it too. There is 1 gram in the bottle you ordered so simply add 4 grams of the diluent of your choice (We recommend TEC or Ethanol) and you will have a 20% strength solution. You will need to gentle warm it to get it to blend - even walking around with it in your pocket for ten minutes should do the trick - nothing much hotter than body temperature.
